All Things Work Together..

Romans 8:28

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose.

We hear/read this all the time, and think that this passage pertains to everyone. As if everything that everyone goes through is for our good, saint or sinner. According to the bible, that is no so. The bible clearly says, that all things work together (kJV) for the GOOD to them that love GOD (stipulation number 1) and to them who are called according to his purpose (stipulation number 2). Sometimes we use this statement to help us feel better about going through rough times that we cannot explain. Before you use this statement, check and see if you meet the criteria.

Do you love GOD? How do you know you love GOD? Are you called?

John 14:15 simply says “if you love me, then obey my commandments.

God has given us several instructions on how to treat each other, but there is one passage that sums it all up. In John 13 34-35, he plainly tells us what the commandment is and what is purpose is. “So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. 35 Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” The “called according to his purpose” is for us to be identified as a disciple. His purpose for us is to be a disciple or a follower of Christ, and for us to make disciples. All of this goes back to LOVE. All things work together, when you Love GOD, and Love Gods people. When we are operating in Love nothing can stand in our way.
